Two stars because my salesperson (forget her name -- began with a D) was great. Otherwise, I'd give you guys one star.
If I purchase something in cash, and you say it's in stock/you can have it to me by Saturday, then I expect to receive the item on Saturday. What I don't expect is to get a call saying that the item was NOT in fact in stock, and that it'll be another 2 weeks minimum before the item will be delivered. They didn't comp anything from my order; basically just told me to buzz off and wait. My advice to you fine folks at Raymour and Flannigan: check to see whether something is in stock before selling it to a customer. Now I've relied on your promise that the furniture would be delivered Saturday, so I've gotten rid of my old furniture set already. Now I won't have a living room set for at least 2 weeks instead of just a couple days.
Don't custom order if you want your furniture anytime soon! My husband and I purchased a dining room table with extra chairs and a leather living room set. The leather living room set was a custom color. We ordered a large couch, two chairs and one large ottoman in tan leather. As you can imagine our bill was substantial. We pretty much walked in knowing what we wanted and required little help. When we first saw the sofa we were told 11 weeks for a custom order. While we felt that was longer than average we were willing to wait. When I called to inquire about the order I was told 12-16 weeks and that I was told that. I am sure I would remember if I was told it would take 4 months to get a couch! Now I am being told 14 weeks - 3 and a half months- absolutely ridiculous. I wish I had gone else where. My brother got his custom order couch from Jordan's in less than 8 weeks. I gave them two stars because the salesperson did return my call when I inquired.

You would expect them to at least give me some extra money off or something. Furniture prices are way high as it is, and you know their profit margins are pretty big on each item anyway. That's why when you pay cash you get like $1,000 off.
Nice people, great stock and deals. Plenty of time to roam around. No high pressure.
Next time I will bring my business elsewhere.
Purchased over $10,000.00 on furniture from the Seekonk, Ma location a few years ago. Salesman was fine; our point of contention resulting in bitterness and complete dissatisfaction stems from the service provided when a problem came up with one of our couches. We had a service technician out on multiple occasions - and found him to be condescending as well as assumptive. This was the most expensive set of couches we've ever purchased, and by far the worst we've owned without a doubt. The technician claimed my husband and I had been jumping on the couches otherwise there was no way for the frame to be in the condition it was currently in!! While we have never mistreated the couch in any way, shape, or form.... He repaired it (we'll see how long it lasts) but didn't want to hear a thing and neither did we. This is a 2-year old couch and we still owe over $2,000.00 on the 2 couches we had purchased. The entire frame had failed, and 2 adults that work endless hours each week that barely use them in the first place are suddenly 7-year old children again? We will never spend another nickel at Raymour & Flanigan - period. Going to check out Cardi's as we've been told on multiple occasions how professional they are.
Edit: They restocked my order in a timely manner, and gave me priority on when I wanted it shipped to remedy the issue. Good customer service, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. 4 stars.
